This age is all about expression when kids really start to form their ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Our classrooms are designed to build foundational skills through play and structured activities, focusing on social-emotional development, independence, and early learning concepts. Every day in our preschool classrooms, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their next significant steps in learning.

At this age, we offer a ton of books and toys. Children in these classrooms will begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom while exploring math, science, pretend play, and group play to help them get used to a more structured school setting.

In a project construct classroom, practical life activities are designed to help children develop fine motor skills, coordination, and independence through everyday tasks. These activities, such as pouring, spooning, and buttoning, are intentionally crafted to mirror real-life experiences, allowing children to practice essential life skills in a structured yet engaging way. By mastering these tasks, children build confidence, concentration, and a sense of responsibility, which are fundamental to their overall development and learning.
